What you'll study

  • Collaborate in an interactive classroom of up to 20 students.
  • Training includes theory and practical sessions covering good sanitation and hygiene practices, pricing, product formulation, and packing and labelling methods.
  • Series of workshops and conferences taught ingroups of up to twenty in several areas, including natural juice processing, sauces, seasons, and personal care products such as bar soaps and body wash.
  • Access to specialists within the agro-processing sector with over 40 hours of additional hand-on study.
  • Access to the latest technologies in food processing to master market trends and consumer demands.
  • Access to YFH’s Apprenticeship Programme to help you to start earning once you have successfully completed the courses up to level 4.
  • Connect with other specialists across the Caribbean, UK and USA.

Entry requirements

The entry requirements for our Agro-Processing Training Course (APTC) are as follows:  

  • Fluency  in English 
  • Receipt  of a satisfactory reference 

English language requirements  

To study at Youth Fields of Hope Institute, it is important that you are able to communicate and engage in English effectively in an academic setting. 

If English is not your first language, you will be required to provide proof of your ability across reading, writing, listening, and speaking in English.
