Vision & Mission

Our Vision

At Youth Fields of Hope Institute, our vision is to create a lasting and transformative impact on the lives of young individuals. By 2028, we aim to establish a global network of empowered youth, equipped with enhanced skills and knowledge to build a better world, navigate the complexities of life and to impact generations for Christ.

Our Mission

The Youth Fields of Hope Institute is committed to empowering and uplifting young individuals by providing comprehensive skill development and knowledge enhancement in the fields of sports, agriculture, science, and construction. Our mission is to equip the youth with the tools they need to thrive and make a positive impact in their communities. Through innovative programs and immersive experiences, we aim to foster a passion for excellence, teamwork, sustainable practices, scientific exploration, and creative problem-solving. We strive to cultivate a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages personal growth, leadership development, and the pursuit of lifelong learning.

Our History

In 2021, amidst the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Youth Fields of Hope (YFH) project was established. Despite lacking any prior farming experience, a single seed of faith was sown on the fertile green fields of Mandeville, Jamaica. The aims of the youth project were to cultivate, harvest, and distribute ground provisions, fruits, and vegetables across the entire island. The visionary concept behind the youth project emerged during a time of global crisis, characterized by escalating unemployment and looming indications of a worldwide food crisis.

YFH's project places significant emphasis on empowering young individuals, encouraging them to dream big, foster independence, and actively engage in entrepreneurship. Initially, YFH focused on the agricultural sector, as it serves as the foundation for a healthy food supply, an indispensable aspect of life.

Our ultimate goal is to ignite a passion among the youths (the future leaders) to eat what they grow and to grow what they eat. Presently, the YFH project has broadened its horizons to cover diverse areas, offering technical and practical courses through their specialized institute. This expanded initiative now embraces science and technology, arts and humanities, sports, and charitable endeavors, providing extra opportunities for young individuals to prosper and achieve success in their lives.  Additionally, this project aspires to be a beacon of hope for families and communities, extending support wherever and whenever it is needed.
