Micquel Boyd leads the Science & Technology Programme of Youth Fields of Hope to drive forward its global community, which is dedicated to preparing young people for the future through engaging, team-based research programmes that inspire young leaders and visionaries. Micquel joined the Youth Executive team in 2024, bringing with him an impressive background in leadership and a deep passion for empowering young people. His goal is to advocate for the global growth of the Science & Technology Programme and to lead the team responsible for its strategic planning and overall development. Prior to joining the volunteer team of Youth Fields of Hope, Micquel excelled in academics, particularly in biology and sciences, which paved the way for my journey into medicine. Currently in his final lap of medical school, his dream is to become a doctor, a goal he has been working tirelessly toward. Micquel’s long-term vision is to use his medical knowledge and skills to serve those who cannot help themselves, giving back in a way that makes a lasting impact. Outside of academics, Miguel’s Christian faith is the cornerstone of his life, always believing that he can do all things through Jesus Christ who strengthens him. One quote that resonates deeply with him is "The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others". This reminds him daily of the importance of selflessness and compassion to make a difference in the world.
